Tommy Joe Ryan, 68, lifelong resident of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015, at the Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan.
Mr. Ryan, son of Sam and Virgie (Johnson) Ryan, was born August 25, 1946, in Ripley County, Missouri. He had been a store clerk at Inman's Feed Store in Doniphan.
Surviving are one daughter, Kimberly Maltiuz, and one son, Sammy Ryan; two sisters, Stella Hoefer of Doniphan and Joyce Grissom of Pocahontas, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Georgia Taylor, Ruth Taylor, Dorothy Ray and Edith Garrison; and three brothers, Jerry Ryan, Acel Ryan and Pete Ryan.
Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday, May 20, 2015, in the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Jared Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Price Cemetery.
