It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Floyd, a man of bountiful wisdom and constant adventure. His thoughtful, selfless nature made him an indispensable companion and remarkable boss at Black Decker. As gentle as his spirit was robustly spirited, his intelligence paired seamlessly with his loving heart to guide us all. He elicited laughter easily with his kindness echoing loudly, forever leaving a mark on those he encountered. Now rest in peace dear Floyd. Your love remains in our hearts eternally.

Very sad to learn of Floyd's passing. I have wonderful memories of working with him at Black & Decker, learning how to ski (badly) together, hanging out at the local fair and enjoying dinner with friends. Always remember one of his favorite lines used to change the conversation "how about those Mets". Rest peacefully. Lisa Pereira

Floyd did many things in support of our community and I would like to commend him for all the work that he did on behalf of the Johnson Chapel Cemetery Association! Floyd’s efforts helped to preserve the Chapel, as well as its Cemetery, for the future! God Bless!

Greatly saddened to hear of this world's loss of a great man, friend, supporter and all around nice guy.
He helped so many the years we worked together at Black & Decker. Taught me so much in my early years there and was completely supportive the years he worked for me(but I always considered him a peer/mentor!)
He was a great friend to co workers AND their families.
He will be sorely missed..Love to you and prayers to your family Floyd

He has been our Best Friend for a long long time and we had many great adventures in CT , and in Destin Florida and Rhode Island and walking at the beach in West Haven. We will miss him a lot and his daily phone calls. Loved him very much.
