As long as I can remember Betty & Paul were part of our lives in the Brannum family. They were best friends to my Grandma (Dorothy) & Grandpa (Jamie) Brannum. Betty & Paul were at Grandma & Grandpas 50th Wedding Anniversary in 1977 (picture), and many family traditions. Betty & Paul came to St. Louis to visit our family Arlene & Joe Stout & myself (Cindy) on several occasions. When I was married Betty & Paul came to St. Louis without hesitation, and Paul officiated my wedding and Betty was always there for us. They were always around!!! Their faith was so inspirational.
The Hamptons are truly missed!!

Betty was an inspiration to us all in her commitment to
the Lord and the work of WMU for many, many years.
She was always faithful to lay before us the challenge of missions involvement, and for that she will always be remembered. Pastor Lonny Mittag, Friendship BC

Truman and I send our deepest sympathy to Betty’s family and friends. Betty was a special friend and WMU mentor to me. I will miss her very much. I am very sorry that we are not able to attend Betty’s visitation nor funeral today. Truman and I are at the SBC Convention in Indianapolis, IN.
May God overshadow each of you with His presence and His comfort.

Oh how very sorry I am to hear this! I served for the past 6 years with Betty on the SHL committee and we will miss her dearly! She was always a bright star at our meetings and conferences. She was such a sweet lady and will be so missed. I’m so very glad I got to meet and work with her! Blessings to all of her family.

Betty was such a sweet lady, always thoughtful and concerned for others, a true servant leader. She will be missed by so many people as she was kind to all. I loved working with her through AARP, she was so passionate about helping others.

My heart is heavy dealing with this loss. Betty brought laughter and joy to our lives. She was a loyal friend, strong Democrat, and a wonderful servant for our Lord. I treasure the many memories I have of our times together. We had many unique experiences.
I cherished her friendship and hold her dear in my heart. I'm sure her husband, Paul, was there to take her to heaven. God blessed her life with her children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rest in Peace Betty.
